Yoga weekend and some news

Well, I was so excited for my yoga weekend in my last post.
And for good reason.
It was truly amazing.
Life changing, in fact.

We had talks by some of the most senior Dru teachers from the UK, The Netherlands and Australia.

We learnt some new moves.
Meditated.
Relaxed.
Chanted.

Soaked up the energy of 200 plus yogis from all over Australia.

I made some new friends.

I ended it all with a private mentoring session with Chandra Goswami.

She took me through all my koshas.

She helped me to resolve all my niggling little issues that have been hanging around.
And she helped me bring it all together at the end with the realisation that it is time for me to train as a yoga teacher.

So, I will be returning to Albury in March 2012 to commence my teacher training.

It is all so crystal clear.
It all feels so right.

It has taken me a few days to come down from the high of such an event.

I am so inspired to live my life.
To the fullest.

I can't even articulate how inspiring it has all been.

How grateful I am for my life.
For my family who made the pilgrimage with me.

I can just tell you that I am changed.

Forever.

The power of yoga to transform people is unbelievable.
I feel so blessed to have found it and to have it in my life.

I feel that I have come home.

"I felt in need of a great pilgrimage
so I sat still for three
days

and God
came to me."

-Kabir

Blessings to you.

  8. Having walked this path, I am super crazy excited for you. Yoga does change a person...absolutely. I found the training itself changed me even more. Move forward gently and with ease and take time to sit and be still with all that is happening. It is the most beautiful journey. Congrats. You will be an incredible yoga teacher, I have no doubt. Your light is so bright. Much love to you, my friend. ~Debbie
