Advent 2010 day 21

Today is my dad's birthday.

We went on the Puffing Billy to celebrate.

What a great day out.

Everyone had a wonderful time.

We stopped and had a picnic and birthday cake.

It turns out that I am not the greatest of cake bakers.

I put cumin instead of cinnamon into the carrot cake.

Can you imagine what that tasted like?

Hee hee!

I am still deciding whether I should risk baking a cake for Annie's birthday or just have one made for her.

I so want to give her a home made cake, but I don't want it to be a flop for her special day.
